La-Boca Barcelona

Friends living in Barcelona challenged me to create a tourist guide with a difference that would allow them to write reviews relating to hundreds of different locations throughout the Spanish city. Each review needed to be assigned a geo-location so that it could be plotted on a Google map.

Extensive WordPress development was required in create this site that has, to date, articles for over 400 locations throughout the city and surrounding areas. There is also a comprehensive Events system, that ties in with the mapping and articles system.

There is also a user registration facility that allows users to build up a personalised list of locations and store them on their profile. There are also blog, articles and value for money ratings systems.
