Cooked & Raw
Paint in Motion
One week project looking into how a raw experience (one that is random and not influenced by the user) can be presented in a 'cooked' manner.
I chose to record the movement and motion experienced in a car journey by placing a paint-covered ball in the back of my car and taking several short journeys. I presented these results (raw) in a book (cooked).
Printed on woven, semi-transparent substrate in order to subtly show the varying results brought by the raw experience.
